After last year’s success, the Mochileando Travel Class, Puerto Rico’s biggest travel event that brings together various travel bloggers from Latin America, returns to the Puerto Rico Convention Center in San Juan on May 4th. This year, the Travel Master Class will bring travel content creators such as Alan from AlanXelmundo, one of the biggest travel bloggers / Youtubers of Latin America. The purpose of this event is to establish Puerto Rico as a center for travel information and to continue expanding a network of travel bloggers, building a Latin American family of knowledgeable travelers. This innovative conference goes far beyond just industry networking and travel inspo (though you’ll get plenty of that too!). There are 2 tracks in which you can learn to Go Pro or if you are already a pro, you can learn how to scale your business. The focus is primarily on the business and monetization side – everything from SEO and social media marketing workshops to monetizing your platform through affiliates, ads, products and more. You’ll learn insider tips for pitching and landing partnerships from both brands and destination reps. You’ll leave with a recharged creative mentality and tactical action plans no matter what your niche is.

For travel influencers and bloggers working on building a global audience, this is THE event for getting your name in front of major international travel brands, tour companies and destination marketing organizations.

While the pre-scheduled buyer/seller appointments can lead to key partnerships and paid opportunities, IPW also provides unbeatable education through seminars on international travel trends and strategies for elevating your global presence. You’ll gain invaluable insights into cultural nuances, purchasing behaviors and in-demand experiences from different markets.

As destinations increasingly look beyond traditional media to leverage influencers for global promotion, IPW represents a rare opportunity to get face-to-face with decision makers and put your pitches in front of the people that truly matter.

You’ll find specialized bootcamps on optimizing your travel writing, photography, videography and blogging skills taught by industry veterans. There’s a major focus on safety, diversity and telling authentic stories from the road. Tech tools are demystified with workshops covering gear, editing apps, SEO, monetization and more.

But just as valuable are the networking opportunities with destinations looking for their next great storyteller. Sponsors and exhibitors routinely offer creative trips where you can experience a location first-hand and produce dreamy content. TBEX serves as a launchpad for ambitious bloggers.
